LEADERS BREAKFAST CATCH-UP

I know you understand that being a decision-maker in your business has its pros and cons (sometimes a lack of time for all the things you want to do and people you want to meet).

That’s why a couple of months ago, during one of the chats with other leaders in the industry, the idea of having a business leaders breakfast came to mind as not only a good way to stay in touch with people and contacts that you wish to stay connected to, but also a great way to meet other great peers in the industry in a bit less formal environment.

Having it at the beginning of the day made sense due to our busy schedules, allowing us to still have all our productive problem-solving bits throughout the day without missing a minute in the office – we all know how precious these minutes are.

It’s been decided that it should be a quick, around-an-hour breakfast catch-up—combining breakfast (we all need to eat sometimes 😊) and networking/solution brainstorming sessions. Each of these Leaders' Breakfast Catch-Up is unique to the small group of 6 decision-makers only. As a CEO myself, I know how annoying it is to be surrounded by the wrong people at a meeting, and you end up feeling like your time is wasted. This is why I personally tailor and select the group of 6 who would benefit from being in the same room at the same time.

Now, when we are back into visiting conferences, and business meetings (regardless of whether it’s a team meeting, one-to-one meeting or a conference room full of people), you will end up having to present yourself and your business. I know you have been networking on so many occasions that you might have gotten it all figured out, and I get it. Some people are born natural networkers. The rest of us have to work a little harder to develop this important skill, even if we have had countless opportunities to speak and network.

Our next Leadership Breakfast Catch-up will take place on Friday, October 14th at 8:30 am at 1 Lombard St, London EC3V 9AA, UK, and master the 5 Golden Principles of Professional Business Networking and how to nail your elevator pitch, as a friendly reminder by Anna Baniuk, who has worked with CEOs all over the world helping them secure that dream meeting and add thousands of pounds to their contracts when meeting with potential clients. I know you are a great networker yourself, but it's good to sometimes recap what you already know. Besides, it's a great opportunity to catch up with industry leaders in less formal settings. As we are all professionals and some amazing ideas have been discussed during these meetings, it’s only understandable that these sessions must be private and operate on the Chatham House Rules.
